ECFS Policy Statement on conference attendance by individuals with
Cystic Fibrosis:
The European Cystic Fibrosis Conference is a scientific forum, designed
for attendance by Scientists and Health Professionals. In our
effort to safeguard individuals with cystic fibrosis from the risk of
cross infection, the ECFS strongly discourages people with CF from
attending the conference. As a conference free of virulent

Tour 2 - Organ Concert in u Krizovniku church |
|
Date: 10 June |
|
Organ concert at Knights of the Cross Church is a one hour long programme. Besides
compositions of world known masters of the baroque and classicism
period, it regularly includes music of Czech composers. Usually three
artists perform at the concerts - soloists of our prominent opera and
orchestra bodies, pedagogues of the Academy of music and drama and the
Prague conservatory. In the church, there is the unique baroque organ made in 1702, which is the
second oldest organ in Prague. A series of famous personalities, for
example W.A. Mozart, A. Dvořák, J. F. N. Seger etc. have played the
renowned music instrument, which has been carefully restored. The
musicians conduct the organ choir, that’s unusually located to the right
next to the main altar. It provides not only an extraordinary visual
experience, but also an uncommon acoustic effect. The entire space of
the church, decoration, movable chattels and the sound of the organ is
the exceptional coherent tableau of the baroque period. The combination
of the brilliant music and art of old master builders offers valuable
cultural experiences to the listeners |
